camping dans la foret landaise

Lesperon

A charming little village, with its 19th century church, its band-stand, its ancient communal clothes-washing site, its fine restaurants, it is the starting point for various excursions.
Starting from the centre of the village, the cycle track du résinier leads to the Cap de l’Homy and the beach.

From the campsite, the invigorating forest tracks bring you close to nature and will awaken your senses. On one path, you will find the Fountain of Saint-John, reputed to have miraculous properties. Pilgrims heading to Saint-Jacques de Compostella stop here.
In the village, the pine resin museum carries you back to the 19th century and the start of the pine resin trade.
